February Demonstration - Sue Ford

Don't forget the February demonstration takes place this coming Saturday.  Usual venue and time - so that's 2:00pm on 8th February at Christ Church Hall on Stockton Lane, York.  Free to members.  Guests welcome with a £5 charge to cover admin costs.

This month we're pleased to have a visit from Sue Ford, a Yorkshire born artist who has exhibited widely including shows with the Royal Society of Marine Artists and the Society of Women Artists in the Mall Galleries, London.  The theme of Saturday's demo is a collage, subject still to be announced.  A professional member of the SAA, Sue's work embraces both the rugged moors and traditional coastal villages of her home county but also extends to explorations of Tuscany, Sardinia and Menorca.

An introduction to Sue's art can be found on her own site at  http://www.sueford.co.uk/ where you can also learn about the painting holidays she organises.
